Dr. Jinesh N. Shah is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist who is an expert in the use of advanced radiotherapy techniques for the treatment of cancer and other conditions. Dr. Shah graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, with a degree in cognitive neuroscience. He then attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY.

Dr. Shah conducted his radiation oncology residency training at the world-renowned Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, where he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Prior to joining Ocean Radiation Oncology in March 2010, Dr. Shah served as an attending physician and professor at New York University and Columbia University Medical Centers. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at Columbia University.

Dr. Shah is the recipient of multiple awards for his cancer research and teaching activities. Notably, he has been honored with the “Teacher of the Year Award” at both New York University Medical Center (2007-2008) and Columbia University Medical Center (2008-2009). Dr. Shah has published his own cancer research extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals. He actively continues to teach and advise radiation oncology physicians-in-training.
